Your ballot, explained.

Two constitutional amendments, one citizen initiative and one advisory question in plain words. Candidate lists are INCOMPLETE (see below). County and local races are on your sample ballot. No endorsements. Every claim links to its source.

INCOMPLETE. The Secretary of State publishes candidates only in a JavaScript search app that our tools could not read. The filing page links no candidate file, and the results and canvass pages returned no text. Candidate names in earlier drafts came from news and reference sites, so none is published here. The four measures are described from the Secretary of State pamphlet, which we could only read as a text summary: the official ballot titles are NOT shown word for word yet. No judge, county, city or school race is listed. Key dates and the "Heard this?" facts about voting come from voteidaho.gov pages read as summaries. Office job descriptions are not shown because we have not checked them against an official source.

Heard this? Here are the facts

Each claim gets a plain status: True, False, or Promised, not law.

Checked against official sources, court records and news reports. We update this as new claims go around.

Key dates

Dates are from the Secretary of State: 2026 Election Calendar (PDF, revised 08/06/2026) , the Casting Your Ballot page and the Register to Vote page . These pages were read through a text summary, not word for word. Check your registration and sample ballot on the VoteIdaho: preview your sample ballot .
