Ballot Measures

The Secretary of State's 2026 Voter Pamphlet was read through a text summary only, so the official ballot wording of the four measures is NOT shown yet (each page says so). Short phrases quoted from the pamphlet were read in that summary and are not word for word proof. The plain-words summaries and the 'why' sections are ours; news quotes and campaign money figures were not re-checked.

Candidates

INCOMPLETE. The Secretary of State's Secretary of State candidate search is a JavaScript app that we could not read, and no candidate file is posted. The Secretary of State publishes candidates only in a JavaScript search app that our tools could not read. The filing page links no candidate file, and the results and canvass pages returned no text. Candidate names in earlier drafts came from news and reference sites, so none is published here. We never publish a candidate's address, phone number or email. Current legislators on the map and race pages come from Open States and the congress-legislators file, not from the candidate list.

Counties and local questions

This guide does not cover county and local races or local questions yet. Your sample ballot lists everything you will vote on.

Districts

District lines on the map come from U.S. Census Bureau files of the Idaho's 2021 legislative map (Plan L03). Your sample ballot is the final word.
