Corporation Commissioner

What this job does

Despite the name, this job isn't about corporations in general. It is one of three people who approve the rates utility companies charge you for electricity and natural gas, and who oversee oil and gas drilling, pipelines, trucking and gas station fuel pumps. A term is six years. source: ballotpedia.org
