Oklahoma voter guide

How this guide is made

State Questions

Ballot titles are copied word for word from the Secretary of State's State Question files, which hold the final ballot title as rewritten by the Attorney General and the measure itself. Oklahoma has no official voter pamphlet with arguments for and against, so the "what your vote means" lines and the "at a glance" summary are ours, and each line links to its source.

Candidates

The list of races and candidates is the State Election Board's November 2026 list of elections , in the Board's order, with names as they appear on the ballot. Where a candidate lives comes from the Board's April 2026 candidate filing book. Each profile lists checkable facts with links to where they came from, the candidate's own stated priorities clearly labeled as theirs, and links to official records and campaign finance filings. We don't rate candidates, list endorsements, or publish polling.

Counties and local questions

County pages list every county office, district judge, city race and local question on the Board's list. Wording for local questions is quoted only from official sources and marked "wording to come" where we don't have it yet.

Districts

District lines on the map come from U.S. Census Bureau files of the Oklahoma Legislature's 2021 redistricting maps, in use from the 2022 elections. Your sample ballot is the final word.
