Every race, every candidate

All 130 candidates on the Secretary of State's official list for federal, statewide and legislative offices, each with a profile page. Judges have their own page: Judges. County and local races are on your sample ballot (see County election offices).

INCOMPLETE. What this guide covers and what it does not. The 86 races and 130 candidates come from the Secretary of State’s candidate roster , printed September 9, 2026. Anything that changed after that date (a withdrawal, a write-in, a late filing) is not checked here. Candidate background is thin: only 16 of 130 candidates (statewide and U.S. races) have a profile with background, and that came from the WyoFile 2026 election guide, the candidates’ own answers, not re-checked. All other candidates, including every State Senate and State House candidate, show “We have not yet found background information.” County, city, school board and community college races are not in this guide. The office descriptions say only what the Secretary of State’s files say (the term length); the files do not describe the duties of the governor, auditor, treasurer or superintendent.

Statewide offices, Congress and courts

On the Wyoming ballot this year, voters choose a U.S. senator, a U.S. representative, a governor, a secretary of state, a state auditor, a state treasurer and a superintendent of public instruction. The State Auditor and State Treasurer races each have one candidate on the roster. Judges are on the ballot too (see the judges page).

State Senate

A State Senator serves a four-year term; odd-numbered districts are up this year, plus a special election in District 6 for the rest of an unexpired term.

17 State Senate races are on the roster: the odd-numbered districts plus a special election in District 6 for the rest of an unexpired term. Senators serve four-year terms. Races with one candidate are still on the ballot.

State House

A State Representative serves a two-year term; all districts are up this year.

All 62 State House seats are on the roster; members serve two-year terms. Races with one candidate are still on the ballot.
