Every race, every candidate

All 43 candidates on the SC Election Commission's official list for federal, statewide and legislative offices, each with a profile page. County and local races are on your sample ballot.

U.S. Senate and statewide offices

Statewide, voters choose a U.S. senator; the governor and lieutenant governor (one ticket); secretary of state; attorney general; state treasurer; comptroller general; superintendent of education; and commissioner of agriculture. South Carolina voters do not elect judges; the General Assembly chooses them.

U.S. House

Your district's one vote in the U.S. House. House members write and vote on federal laws, taxes and spending, and every bill to raise taxes has to start in the House. A term is two years.

State Senate

The state Senate is not on the ballot in 2026. Senators serve four-year terms and are next elected in 2028.

State House

Your district's vote in the S.C. House of Representatives (124 members). Members write and vote on state laws and the state budget, and every bill to raise taxes has to start in the House. A term is two years.

All 124 state House seats are on the ballot; members serve two-year terms. Races with one candidate are still on the ballot.
