Every race, every candidate

All 126 candidates on the Secretary of State's official list for federal, statewide and legislative offices, each with a profile page. Judges on the retention ballot have their own page: Judges. County offices, district judges and city races are listed on each county page.

Statewide offices, U.S. Senate and Court of Appeals

New Mexico elects a governor and lieutenant governor (one ticket), secretary of state, attorney general, state auditor, state treasurer and commissioner of public lands this year, plus a U.S. senator, three U.S. House members and one Court of Appeals judge. The Public Education Commission, county and judge races are on each county page.

U.S. House

Your district's one vote in the U.S. House. House members write and vote on federal laws, taxes and spending, and every bill to raise taxes has to start in the House. A term is two years.

State Senate

Your district's vote in the N.M. Senate. Senators write and vote on state laws and the state budget, and approve the governor's picks for many state jobs. A term is four years.

Only state Senate District 33 is on the ballot this year. The other 41 senators serve four-year terms and are next elected in 2028.

State House

Your district's vote in the N.M. House of Representatives. Members write and vote on state laws and the state budget, and propose constitutional amendments like the ones on this ballot. Lawmakers get no salary today. A term is two years.

All 70 state House seats are on the ballot; members serve two-year terms. Races with one candidate are still on the ballot.
