Judges on the ballot
Missouri's appeals court judges, and some trial judges, are picked under the Missouri Nonpartisan Court Plan: a commission names three finalists, the governor picks one, and voters later decide whether to keep that judge. There is no opponent and no party label; you vote yes or no. A judge needs a majority of yes votes to stay for a full term. This year the certified list includes retention votes for circuit and associate circuit judges in circuits 6, 7, 16, 21, 22 and 31.
