Public Questions

Every Indiana voter decides these 2. Each page has the official ballot title word for word, what a yes or no vote does, and links to the full text.

• Public Question 1 Let judges deny bail to dangerous defendantsmajority to pass

  Biggest change: Bail may be denied for offenses beyond murder and treason.

• Public Question 2 Where city and town court judges may livemajority to pass

  Biggest change: Judge may live in the county where the court sits.

Both are amendments to the Indiana Constitution. The General Assembly passed each one in two separate sessions before sending it to voters. Each passes with a majority of the votes cast on it. Source: 2026 Indiana Voter Information Guide ↗.
