Judges up for retention

The Secretary of State's publicity pamphlet lists 82 judges and justices on the retention ballot: one Arizona Supreme Court justice, 14 Court of Appeals judges and Superior Court judges in Coconino, Pinal, Pima and Maricopa counties. Voters decide whether each stays in office (yes or no). The pamphlet prints "meets judicial standards" for every one. INCOMPLETE: the retention question wording was not seen, and Superior Court judges in the other 11 counties are not covered by the pamphlet.

INCOMPLETE. The pamphlet text our tool could read ends before the retention question and before the sample ballot pages, so the yes or no question is not shown here. Superior Court judges in the 11 other counties, and any judge who faces an opponent, are not covered. Term lengths are not shown. All names were read through a summary tool, not checked word for word.

Judges on your ballot

Names, courts and which voters decide each come from the Secretary of State's candidate and judge listings , Judicial Performance Review section, read twice through a summary tool (same 82 names). INCOMPLETE: not checked word for word, and no term lengths are shown.
