How this guide is made
Ballot Propositions
INCOMPLETE. The official ballot wording (official title, descriptive title, YES and NO statements) is copied word for word from the Secretary of State's ballot language PDF. The plain-words summaries come from the Secretary of State's ballot language, the Legislature's impartial Legislative Council analyses and the Secretary of State's publicity pamphlet, all read on October 15, 2026 through a summary tool (WebFetch) that paraphrases, so they are ours and are not checked word for word, and no claim check has been done. The reasons for and against are the named arguments printed in the pamphlet; numbers inside them are the writers' claims.
Candidates
The list of races and candidates is the Secretary of State's 2026 General Election candidate listing at apps.arizona.vote/electioninfo (read from a browser-saved copy; party shown as printed codes) , in the order the list prints them, with names as printed (we turned LAST, FIRST into First Last and spelled out the party codes). Each profile lists checkable facts with links to where they came from, the candidate's own stated priorities clearly labeled as theirs, and links to official records and campaign finance filings. We don't rate candidates, list endorsements, or publish polling.
Judges
Names and courts come from the "Judicial Performance Review" section of the Secretary of State's publicity pamphlet, read twice through a summary tool with the same 82 names.
Counties and local questions
This guide does not cover county and local races or local questions yet. Your sample ballot lists everything you will vote on.
Districts
District lines on the map come from U.S. Census Bureau files of the Arizona's 30 legislative districts (the Independent Redistricting Commission drew the current map in 2022; we have not compared the Census file line by line with the commission's map). Your sample ballot is the final word.
