How this guide is made
issues
In Arkansas, the Legislature can send up to three constitutional amendments to voters each election. It also sent a bond question. Citizens can put measures on the ballot by petition, but none qualified for 2026. The ballot titles (and, for Issue 4, the ballot question and choices) are copied word for word from the Secretary of State's official notices for Issues 1 to 4.
Candidates
The list of races and candidates is the Secretary of State's candidate search table for the nonpartisan judicial general election on Nov. 3, 2026 (the November partisan nominee list is not in the guide yet) , in the order of the candidate search table, with names as they appear on the ballot. Where a candidate lives comes from the Board's April 2026 candidate filing book. Each profile lists checkable facts with links to where they came from, the candidate's own stated priorities clearly labeled as theirs, and links to official records and campaign finance filings. We don't rate candidates, list endorsements, or publish polling.
Counties and local questions
This guide does not cover county and local races or local questions yet. Your sample ballot lists everything you will vote on.
Districts
District lines on the map come from U.S. Census Bureau files of the {'url': 'https://gis.arkansas.gov/2021/11/30/2021-arkansas-state-and-house-redistricting-district-maps-data-publication/', 'label': 'Arkansas GIS Office: 2021 state Senate and House district maps'}. Your sample ballot is the final word.
