District lines

U.S. Census Bureau 2024 cartographic boundary files (1:500,000): cb_2024_us_cd119_500k (Connecticut features only) for the 5 U.S. House districts, cb_2024_09_sldu_500k for the 36 state Senate districts, cb_2024_09_sldl_500k for the 151 state House districts, cb_2024_us_county_500k for counties and cb_2024_09_place_500k for city and town limits. These show the {'status': '2021 maps in use for 2026 (no change found)', 'house': {'url': 'https://cga.ct.gov/rr/tfs/20210401_2021%20Redistricting%20Project/hmaps.asp', 'label': '2021 House Redistricting Plan Maps (Connecticut General Assembly)'}, 'senate': {'url': 'https://cga.ct.gov/rr/tfs/20210401_2021%20Redistricting%20Project/smaps.asp', 'label': '2021 Senate Redistricting Plan Maps (Connecticut General Assembly)', '_check': 'URL guessed from the House/Congress pattern (hmaps.asp, cmaps.asp); not fetched (cga.ct.gov blocks the fetch tool).'}, 'shapefiles': {'senate': 'https://catalog.data.gov/dataset/ct-senate-districts', 'congress': 'https://catalog.data.gov/dataset/ct-congressional-districts', '_check': 'data.gov catalog entries found by search, not opened.'}}. District files are converted without simplification; county outlines and city limits are simplified for display. Near a boundary line they can be off by a block or more.
