Every race, every candidate

All 260 candidates on the Wisconsin Elections Commission's official list for federal, statewide and legislative offices, each with a profile page. County and local races are on your sample ballot.

Statewide offices

Wisconsin elects its governor and lieutenant governor (as a team), attorney general, secretary of state and state treasurer every four years.

U.S. House

Your district's one vote in the U.S. House. House members write and vote on federal laws, taxes and spending, and every bill to raise taxes has to start in the House. A term is two years.

State Senate

Your district's vote in the Wisconsin Senate. Senators write and vote on state laws and the state budget, and approve or reject many of the governor's appointments. A term is four years.

Only the 17 odd-numbered State Senate districts are up this year. State senators serve four-year terms.

State Assembly

Your district's vote in the Wisconsin State Assembly, the Legislature's larger chamber. Members write and vote on state laws and the state budget. A term is two years.

All 99 seats in the State Assembly (Wisconsin's lower house) are up. Members serve two-year terms.
