Every race, every candidate

All 124 candidates on the official lists we have for federal, statewide and legislative offices, each with a profile page. County and local races are on your sample ballot.

INCOMPLETE. What this guide covers and what it does not. The 64 races and 124 candidates come from the Legislative Counsel Bureau roster (State Senate and Assembly, July 2026) and the Clark County Registrar’s notice (governor and the other statewide offices, Supreme Court, U.S. House 1, 3 and 4). U.S. House District 2 (northern Nevada and the rural counties) is missing: it is in none of the files we have, so no candidates are shown for it. We have not downloaded the Secretary of State’s own certified list (its site blocks automated downloads). The legislative roster is from July and the Clark County notice has no date we checked; later withdrawals or changes are not seen. County and city races are not in this guide. Check your sample ballot.

Statewide races

Every Nevada ballot lists Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, Treasurer, Controller, and 2 Nevada Supreme Court seats (B and D). Each of these races includes a "None of these candidates" choice. There is no U.S. Senate race in Nevada this year.

U.S. House

A U.S. Representative speaks for one Nevada district in Congress for a 2-year term. Representatives vote on federal laws, taxes, and spending. Nevada has 4 districts; District 2 is not shown (no candidate list found).

State Senate

A state senator is one of 21 members of the Nevada Senate and serves a 4-year term. Senators write and vote on state laws and the state budget. The Legislature meets every other year, in odd-numbered years.

11 of Nevada's 21 Senate seats are on the ballot.

State House

An Assembly member is one of 42 members of the Nevada Assembly and serves a 2-year term. Assembly members write and vote on state laws and the state budget.

All 42 Nevada Assembly seats are on the ballot.
