Every race, every candidate

265 candidates from the Secretary of State's official candidate list, each with a profile page. U.S. Senate, U.S. House, Supreme Court, Public Service Commission, district court, state Senate and state House candidates are from the Secretary of State's full official candidate list (all 272 entries, exported October 15, 2026). Three House candidates are listed as withdrawn and are left out. Your ballot is the final word. Four write-in candidates on the list (U.S. Senate, State Senate Districts 9 and 22) are left out. The regular registration deadline, absentee return date and poll hours are not confirmed from an official page, so they are not listed. Fiscal notes and the Voter Information Pamphlet are not checked. County and local races are on your sample ballot.

U.S. Senate and Supreme Court

The Secretary of State's full candidate list shows no governor or other statewide executive office on the ballot in Montana this year. Statewide, it shows a U.S. Senate race, one Montana Supreme Court seat and two Public Service Commission seats. Judges run without a party label.

U.S. House

Your district's one vote in the U.S. House. House members write and vote on federal laws, taxes and spending, and every bill to raise taxes has to start in the House. A term is two years.

State Senate

Your district's vote in the Montana Senate. Senators write and vote on state laws and the state budget. The official list prints a 4-year term.

25 of the 50 state Senate seats are on the ballot (all 25 are on the official list we have); senators serve four-year terms as printed on the list. Races with one candidate are still on the ballot.

State House

Your district's vote in the Montana House of Representatives. Members write and vote on state laws and the state budget. The official list prints a 2-year term.

All 100 state House seats are on the ballot; members serve two-year terms (term length as printed on the Secretary of State list). The official list has candidates in all 100 districts.
