Every race, every candidate

All 44 candidates on the Louisiana Secretary of State's official list for federal, statewide and legislative offices, each with a profile page. County and local races are on your sample ballot.

Not in this guide: Your ballot may also have district races that are not statewide: Public Service Commission Districts 1 and 5 (District 1 lists a Republican, a Democrat and a No Party candidate; District 5 lists a Republican and a Democrat), three Louisiana Supreme Court seats (Districts 1, 3 and 4, one Republican listed for each) and a BESE District 1 seat, plus parish and city races. Our list does not give these races their own pages. Check your sample ballot on the Voter Portal. They are on the Candidate Inquiry list, but we did not build pages for them.
