Amendments
Every Florida voter decides these 3. Each page has the official ballot title word for word, what a yes or no vote does, and links to the full text.
- Amendment 1 A bigger rainy-day fund60% to pass
Biggest change: Lawmakers would have to move up to $750 million a year into the emergency fund until it reaches the new, higher limit.
- Amendment 2 No property tax on farm equipment60% to pass
Biggest change: Farm and ranch owners (or the people who lease the land) would no longer pay local property tax on business belongings that normally stay on farmland and are used to grow or raise farm products or for agritourism.
- Amendment 3 Bigger homestead tax break, lower cap on other property60% to pass
Biggest change: For the home you live in (your "homestead"), city, county and other non-school property taxes would skip the first $150,000 of its taxed value in 2027 and $250,000 in 2028, then more each year with inflation.
All three were placed on the ballot by the Legislature and amend the Florida Constitution. Each needs at least 60% of the votes cast on it to pass, not just a majority. Source: Division of Elections: constitutional amendments on the 2026 ballot .
