Judges on the ballot
For each judge, you vote Yes or No on whether to keep the judge. On the sample ballot in the Division of Elections’ Official Election Pamphlet, the terms are ten years for the Supreme Court, six years for superior court judges and four years for district court judges (Justice Pate and the judges of the First, Second, Third and Fourth Judicial Districts, each worded as on the sample ballots in the pamphlets for Regions I, IV, III and I). The Supreme Court question is on every ballot; the other judges are on the ballot only in their own judicial district.
